This is one of the last sentences of the movie American History X, which we've just finished watching today with 4th ESO students ( CV Improving my English skills ). A transcendental statement we should think about, isn't it ? but it's as plain as a pikestaff. Why do people get pissed off so easily? Is hate a way of life?

On Friday13th April my students from CV 4rt ESO and me started watching American History X as they voted for this film among three options ( Crash and Million Dollar Baby ). They know ( and so do I ) that it is a hard film where basic human principles are attacked but I also think that it is a film which can help people and above all teenagers to think about life and its essence. Values such as respect, tolerance, freedom of expression and thinking, dignity, .. are violated to such an extreme that one feels ashamed of the human race.

Last summer I travelled to Galicia with my family. We hired an autocaravan and spent 12 days travelling. It's an experience I highly recommend as you can visit isolated places such as the one I show you in this picture : Porto do Bares, where we ate fish and seashell at a very cheap price
Breakfast is without any doubt my favourite meal of the day. No matter where I am, I never skip breakfast. On weekdays I usually have breakfast at the canteen with my colleagues: a cup of coffee and milk + a mini-sandwich; at weekends I have breakfast at home but later I often have a cup of coffee somewhere: l'Ateneu, Vas a Vas .... And when I'm on holidays, Oh, I love having breakfast at hotels, with all that variety they usually offer; if I am in a camp-site, apartment or caravan, I enjoy preparing breakfast for my family and me. Mornings are so peaceful, relaxing,... having a cup of tea or coffee while reading the newspaper in front of the sea, the lake ... what a pleasure!
